COVID-19 PROTOCOL

In order to ensure that our re-opening keeps both the instructor and you, our client, as safe as possible, the safety protocol has been devised in compliance with the CDC guidelines.

The guidelines will be continually monitored to ensure that the protocols evolve as we learn more.  Maintaining your health and safety is our highest priority.

Services and Scheduling

  • Sessions will be booked and paid for in advance to minimize any physical contact.

  • Only private sessions will currently be offered with the exception of a semi-private session with a member of the same household who also meets the health guidelines outlined below.

  • Sessions are 55 minutes and there will be a 15 minute lapse between clients in order to allow time to disinfect the equipment and the small apparatus as well as no overlap between clients.

  • Clients are to enter at their scheduled time only, all entry and exit surfaces will have been disinfected for safety.

Guidelines for Clients to follow at home prior to coming into the studio.

  • Take your temperature and answer the below self-screen questions prior to every session.  If the answer to any of these questions is “yes” please contact the studio to cancel.  This self-screening questionnaire and contact-less thermometer will also be available for use upon entering the studio. Sessions canceled due to Covid-19 health concerns only,  will be credited in full, no penalty.

  • Have you had a body temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit or have you used a fever reducer in the previous 24 hours to treat said temperature?

  • Do you have a new cough that you cannot attribute to another health condition?

  • Do you have a new or worsening sore throat that you cannot attribute to another health condition?

  • Do you have new shortness of breath that you cannot attribute to another health condition?

  • Have you recently developed a complete loss of smell or taste?

  • Have you been in contact with anyone who has tested positive?

Must do's

  • Clients must wear a face covering at all times while in the studio, including during sessions.  If there is a health reason impacting a client's ability to wear a mask, we ask that you let the studio know in advance.

  • Clients must sanitize hands upon entrance to the studio.  Sanitizer will be provided. Clients are also encouraged to use sanitizer at the end of their session.

  • Clients should arrive at the studio fully dressed for class, this includes wearing Pilates grip socks.  If you do not have them, you can purchase them at the studio.

  • Clients are asked to inform the studio by phone or email as soon as possible if they test positive for Covid-19.  An email notification will then be sent to all other studio clients that there is a confirmed case of Covid-19.

Equipment, Props and Sanitation

  • Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be provided within the studio.

  • The equipment and all props  used by the client will be thoroughly sanitized between each session.

  • The studio will be deep cleaned at the end of the day, all equipment, props, surfaces, door handles, light switches, bathroom, etc.

Guidelines for the Instructor

  • A face mask will be worn by the instructor at all times.

  • Hands will be sanitized before and after each session.

  • A 6 feet distance from client will be maintained whenever possible.  Hands-on adjustments will not occur, all corrections will be communicated verbally.

  • The same CDC guidelines for clients listed above will be followed by instructor.

Covid-19 Cancellation Policy

  • Those who may be at risk of infection should not expose others to the virus.  Just as the CDC is encouraging sick employees to stay at home, we will ask our clients who feel that they may be at risk of exposure or ill health to refrain from coming to their session until they are confident you are not infected or have quarantined for 14 days.  For this reason, we will offer those clients who feel they may be at risk the opportunity to cancel their session at any time for Covid-19 health related issues without penalty during this Covid-19 crisis.

  • Please understand that this policy for protection of spread will also affect the instructor and so to limit their chance of passing on infection, they also may need to cancel a class the same day with little notice.  Should this occur, you will be contacted immediately with the opportunity to reschedule at a later time.
